Company background

The merger of Pace Airline Management (1988) and Air Marketing Associates (AMA, 1989) led to the creation of Globe Air Cargo UK Ltd. The experience inherited from both companies was used well as the new company has increased its size and profitability substantially year on year since its inception. Both companies had long term airline contracts that have now been joined with new starters like Mexicana, TAM and Vietnam AIrlines. As Globe AIr Cargo, the new company ranks as the largest UK GSA organisation with a sales force bigger than most national airlines operating in the UK and Ireland. The commercial and reservations offices now situated at Heathrow, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin serve the ever increasing customer portfolio which covers all areas of the world. The end of 2008 proved to be the most successful ever with 5 new airlines signing to star at various points in 2009.
