Russia's largest international cargo carrier AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) has appointed Globe Air Cargo as its exclusive GSA partner in Poland.
The new contract is effective from January 1st 2010 and will see Globe generating cargo in Poland to connect with ABC's Boeing 747 freighter services from its hub in Frankfurt. AirBridgeCargo currently operates 12 all-cargo flights a week from Frankfurt to Moscow and onward to major centres in Asia, including Beijing, Shanghai, Honk-Kong and Tokyo. Read the article
PanAir Cargo offers freighters capacity out of Santo Domingo through its hub in Panama City to Central Americas. ECS offices (Globe Air Cargo & Aero Cargo) will bring cargo to SDQ thanks to interline agreements out of Europe. PanAir Cargo is operating with B727 freighters with capacity of 24.000 kgs per flight. The cargo activity of AVIANCA is now sold under the name of TAMPA CARGO, "sister" of AVIANCA. Globe Air Cargo now represents TAMPA CARGO. The gathering of these two airlines proposes an important presence in Central and South America with AVIANCA passengers flights from Spain and TAMPA CARGO freighters from Bogota, Miami and New York. Australian carrier Qantas has named Paris-based Aero Cargo International, part of the European Cargo Services (ECS) group, as its general sales agent in France.
Aero Cargo director Adrien Thominet noted: "Qantas serves many markets that we see as being more robust and less affected by the general downturn in the market." Read the article

ECS has set up a new subsidiary in Germany called Aero Cargo International GmbH, thus giving birth to a second baby after having established Globe Air Cargo GmbH in the German market years ago.
